Steel tile roofing offers durability, longevity, and low maintenance compared to conventional asphalt shingles. It is also resistant to weather-related damage such as hail, high winds, and extreme temperatures. In many cases, steel roofing is also considered more environmentally friendly because it’s often recyclable and can help with energy efficiency.
Maintaining your steel tile roof is simple. Just rinse it occasionally to clear dirt and debris. For tough spots, use mild soap and a soft brush. Avoid pressure washers or harsh chemicals. Keep nearby trees trimmed and check gutters, especially after storms. A quick inspection once or twice a year helps catch issues early, or we’re happy to take a look for you.
Steel tile roofs excel in extreme weather. They resist rain, wind, snow, and hail thanks to interlocking panels and strong, durable steel. They reflect heat in summer, shed snow in winter, and stay secure through it all, making them a smart, year-round choice for harsh climates.
Steel tile roofing is surprisingly lightweight. It’s much lighter than concrete or clay, yet extremely strong, offering the look of heavy tile without stressing your home’s structure. Most buildings can support it easily, but we’re always happy to assess if needed.
